Limitless Capacity

Greetings Limitless Leaders!

It’s taken a few years. A lot of intentional sweat & tears. Sleepless nights filled with angst and blurred weekends. Sacrifices, too many to count. And constantly slapping back that insidious thought, “Is all this really worth it?” Then, finally, you land the job of your dreams. Better yet, the career you were made for.

The first week of onboarding is filled with reading &; electronically signing documents. Lots of documents. Orientation sessions. Lukewarm coffee & dry bagels. Meeting new people and new faces. More meetings. You haven’t even started your “real” work yet & already you feel overwhelmed, ill-equipped, & lonely. And the return of that insidious thought, “Is all this really worth it” isn’t helping your mood. Trust God, it is worth it!

Dear Leaders, week two is coming. And so will week twelve. The same God that planted the precious seed of your purpose in you is the same One who will make it grow through you. How? Our God has no capacity. Read that again. We love, serve, & have faith in a limitless God. Don’t make the gaffe of limiting God. Again and again, they limited God, preventing Him from blessing them. Continually they turned back from Him and provoked the Holy One of Israel! Psalm 78:41-42 (TPT)

In Him, lies the strength & confidence to do this work & so much more. Read that again too. It’s not about confidence in what you can do. Look deeper. You only need to have confidence in God by knowing Him & trusting in His limitless capacity. And in His great love. Starting each day with this affirmation will bless you. I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13 (HCSB)

Strive to never become blind to the limitless capacity of God.
