Heartfelt Habits - Love Your Growth in Fifteen

Each day is filled with opportunities waiting to be discovered, if only we pause long enough to see them. As Limitless Leaders, we are called not just to manage our time but to maximize the impact of every moment. In 2026, I invite you to join me each month as we explore the extraordinary possibilities that can unfold in just Fifteen Minutes A Day. Together, let’s be intentional in finding, embracing, and making the most of these small windows of time, blessing ourselves, our teams, and those around us with purpose and growth.

The Heart of Growth

As the year begins to settle into its rhythm, this season offers a natural opportunity to pause and reflect. Many of us are evaluating goals, celebrating progress, and adjusting course where needed. In those moments of reflection, it is worth considering a simple truth: very little growth happens alone.

Behind every milestone, achievement, and lesson learned are people who encouraged us, challenged us, supported us, and helped us become who we are today. As Limitless Leaders, we often focus on what we are building and where we are going next. Yet some of our greatest growth comes from the relationships that sustain us along the way.

As we move through the month, let’s reflect on how care, encouragement, and connection show up in our lives and work. Whether through acts of kindness, thoughtful leadership, or moments of personal connection, these experiences remind us that growth is rarely a solo journey. Let's use those Fifteen Minutes A Day not only to pursue our goals but also to appreciate the people and relationships that make meaningful progress possible.

Heartfelt Habits

I will always remember them: Mary, Edie, Thelma, and Kitty.

When I began my first job as a registered nurse, I was welcomed onto the night shift by this remarkable team of women, each radiating gentle strength, wisdom, humor, and generosity. Their kindness and encouragement made every challenge feel lighter and every night brighter.

Over three years of working together and countless fifteen-minute moments, these compassionate souls, one licensed practical nurse and three devoted certified nursing attendants, became so much more than colleagues. They became the heart of my early nursing journey.

The care they extended to me was not found in grand gestures. It showed up in shared wisdom, patient guidance, words of encouragement, and the quiet consistency of people who genuinely wanted to see me succeed. Their influence shaped my confidence, strengthened my resilience, and reminded me that growth often happens through ordinary moments shared with extraordinary people.

Their impact remains one of the most meaningful lessons and memories I carry with me today.

It Only Takes A Minute, Or Fifteen

As we move through the second half of the year, let’s take time to recognize the people who have influenced our journey and consider how we might do the same for others. Whether through acts of kindness, gentle words, thoughtful leadership, or moments of personal connection, we all have opportunities to encourage growth in those around us.

This month and beyond, let's use those Fifteen Minutes A Day not only to pursue our goals but also to nurture the relationships that make those goals worthwhile. Sometimes the most lasting impact we have is not in what we accomplish, but in how we help others grow along the way.
